Are metal finishes covered under the MERLYN Lifetime Guarantee?

The Lifetime Guarantee for metal coverings (chrome and colour coating) against flaking, discolouration and rust is excluded where those conditions are caused by misuse, build up of mildew and limescale, or the use of corrosive cleaning liquids.
