The UK and Ireland’s leading shower brand, MERLYN, is continuing its growth plans with the appointment of Rhys Higgins as regional sales manager for Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

Reporting directly into the Northern sales director, Rhys will be responsible for customer support and business development across the region. He will work directly with retail, merchant, and specification customers to provide essential product training, market insights and showroom displays, with a specific focus on the popular Arysto Collection of luxuriously crafted shower enclosures.

The appointment takes the total sales force to 18 enabling the brand - which was recently voted the Best Shower Brand at the BKU awards - to maintain its high levels of customer service as it continues to expand product offering and reach.

Rhys joins at an important time as he and the rest of the UK sales team will embark on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in September in aid of MERLYN’s charity partner, the Pink Ribbon Foundation. The aim is to complete the gruelling 24 mile challenge in under 12 hours, with all donations raised going directly to the grant making trust that funds projects and provides impartial financial support to breast cancer charities.
